Apologies for stealing the marketing campaign of a southern based hockey team inviting fans to escape the heat to partake in some hockey, but as the Tampa Bay Lightning get set to host their annual development camp, the adage seems quite apropos.
The four-day camp with 27 players opens with on-ice activity on Wednesday and carries right on through to Saturday, concluding with the 3-on-3 tournament.
