TAMPA – Through months and months of uncertainty, the return of the National Hockey League now feels real.
All 24 teams competing in the Return to Play qualifiers and playoffs checked into the secure zone hotels in Edmonton and Toronto and on Monday quickly got down to the business of preparing for games. Those first games get underway on Tuesday with three exhibitions, the first between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia at 4 p.m followed by Toronto vs Montreal at 8 and Edmonton vs. Calgary at 10:30 (all times Eastern).
