Tampa Bay Lightning will end the season in disappointment, but the pain will be temporary

The dream died on Saturday sometime around 9:40 p.m. EDT, on the ice at Air Canada Centre.
Connor Brown, one of the half-dozen impressive Toronto Maple Leaf rookies, capped off a third-period comeback to lift Toronto to a 5-3 victory against a Pittsburgh team that was already missing some of its top players due to injury before opting to sit a handful of other regulars for the game.
With the victory, Toronto clinched the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference standings, thereby eliminating the Tampa Bay Lightning from postseason play. It’s the first time Tampa Bay won’t make the playoffs...
