Dan Herrejon: Postseason pain to leave scars on more than just Tampa Bay Lightning

This hurt is going to last a while. After witnessing one of the best seasons in over 100 years of the NHL, we are left empty with the ignominy of this first round sweep of the Tampa Bay Lightning at the hands of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The pain of this particular playoff ouster will linger. Especially as expectations grew with each of those 62 regular season victories.
To tell the truth, even if the Lightning were to go 82-0 next season, most of us would have tremendous trepidation heading into next year’s first round of the postseason.
Many of us are wondering just what in the hell happene...
